Aunt Julia

Well, work has started on aunt Julia so I might as well open up a project topic. The plan is to restore/fix up the bodywork (mainly the sills) while keeping her roadworthy as much as possible. In a later stage, the rear axle will have to come out for inspection, revision of the brake calipers and probably some new bushes here and there.
I started work today at the rear of the right hand sill, which proved trickier then I thought at first. Several sheets of metal overlapping each other including some older repairs had me scratching my head for some time, but most of it has been fixed now. Obviously I forgot to bring my photo camera (I do the welding @ work) so no new pictures just now!
Incidentally, has anyone ever fitted a larger battery in a V8 car? The current one looks a tad small for a high compression V8..
