Ball and socket part has broken

This socket part of the throttle linkage between the carbs has broken. I've seen similar looking things on the internet but I'm not sure if they are right. Does anyone know what this part is called or where I might get one from?

I had one of these a short while ago for an engine build up, which had done the same as yours. They came in various lengths. -

That should do the job. I had a ball joint fail (plastic) on mine. IIRC the thread is 3/16unf, and I was able to buy an end by itself. Or maybe 10-32 - get your thread gauge out.

I've now ordered one of those as well. Being just the head it may allow me to retain the original shaft. With the two orders i'll have plenty of spares

3/16 UNF and 10-32 is the same thread.
