Hello everyone

Can any of you wonderful people out there help me.

Does any body have the fitting order for re fitting the Body Panels back on to the Rover P6 after removing them.

Thank you.

kind regards.

Gary.

There isn't one really, none of the panels interfere with another panel with the exception the front & rear valences, which do fasten to the fenders.

I would start with the rear decker, bootlid, rear wings, rear valence doors sills front wings, front screen panel, front valence and bonnet.
Then the fun starts by jiggling them all about slightly to get the best panel gap you can.
If you are painting the car,get all your panel gaps as good as poss before removal, making note of spacers, shims, and where and what fixings go where.
Oh and only undo 1 adjustable door hinge pin per door, leave the other in situ as it makes it easier to realign when refitting.
Its near impossible to get perfect gaps all round without some luck and a lot of patience.

Many thanks I thought that there was some order that they had to go back on the Car but just a simple understanding of how the car was put together in the first place. I must admit I have already fallen into the trap of removing the door hinges, that will be fun to get them back together.

Regards

I am surprised you managed to get those hinges off the doors and base unit!
They are normally WELL SOLID!
Most leave them on and paint them body colour, and some hand paint grey.
