Bonnet prop clip

Hi all
does anyone have a bonnet prop clip they would kindly sell me it's the one that is pop riveted to the under side of the bonnet that the prop clips up into

Do you have a picture of the part you are chasing?
 
I have one fairly rusty one and I'll have a look at another bonnet which I think has a more presentable one. You could try using a fuse clip from an electrical suppliers or they do make small size clips in hardware - for door locks and clipping brooms to walls etc. Fuse clips are much more robust and better made but you need to find somewhere (Electronic shop) that handles the larger fuse sizes. Ship's Chandlers is another source for them. If you can find a Rover wrecker he may have a car with a useless (bent) bonnet you could get for scrap value, remove the clip then scrap it to recover cost...other british cars used the same system so a 'general' wrecker might be a good source too. I'm in sydney so postage might be worth more than the part...Happy to supply if needed though.
