Bonnett vents p5b

Good Lord! Now that is different! Nice bit of work, but I can see them getting a rather cool reception at the average P5 Do? But then with a nice cool engine bay, who cares!

This is my take with a P6B bonnet, currently in store waiting for paint before going on Lucky:

Indeed - your work is excellent quality TD.
I'm just trying my hand at spraying for the first time & I know how the paint shows up any imperfections

Yes Phil youre so right This is the second time around this year with paint. It can be a nightmare if something goes wrong.

Almost every panel has had to go back to the steel to get rid of dodgy products, worth it in the long run , hopefully. What paint are you using?

Yes they are to let the heat out from the radiator. The bonnet will get fitted to the car when the engine gets modified, not sure if they will work too well though. The idea is copied from an early ford mustang

The wheels are from an interceptor 7x15, not too sure I like them that much but they are better than the rusty rostyles that came with the car. Hopefully these will go on soon, I think they look more suitable

Now that's a novel idea! P6 Rostyles on a P5! won't that have a rather unfortunate effect on the oveall gearing?

Easily mistaken for p6's but these are 7x15

Hi TD,

Wheels that look like 14" P6 Rostyles but aren't. Were they custom custom made or something else? They look excellent I must say, and so do your bonnet louvers.

Ron.

I think you'll find they're magnum 500 wheels, commonly used on mustangs.
Very nice wheels 8)

Looks very good Truckdoctor! Do you have any more details on the 7x15 rostyle type wheels you have? Offset, type of wheelnut to use and centre cap diameter ? Also where have you got them? Regards Barten
