Boot mount spare wheel

Hi all
Can anyone advise me please as to where I mount the boot stay when spare wheel is fitted to boot lid? :D
 
Hi CobRov,

My Rover did not come with the option of mounting the spare wheel on the boot lid, but there are quite a few forum members with Rovers that have this option. I am sure that one or more will be along to help you out in due course.

It is mounted on the left side of the boot when open.
You should be able to see a tell tale sign of where if you look at the left of the bootlid near the hinge and on the left on the top edge inner wing behind the rubber!
The stay is the red bit on the left of this pic.

Ron , it was a factory option with a cover.
