Bootlid Badge replacement - how to remove/replace?

hi guys
I have a new bootlid badge (my car has the optional bootlid spare tyre mount). The question is, how do I remove the old badge and put in the new badge? I thought I had to get to it from inside the bootlid, but that doesn't appear to be the answer, and I don't want to lever the old badge out from the top in case I do some damage ...

You should have a locking catch thing on the inside of the boot lid. undo this then twist the badge and it just comes off.

If you are removing the plastic logo from the chrome get a basin and pour in boiling water. The Plastic will lift off until you can prise the two pieces apart.

thanks Colin - all sorted! just need to get the trim back on now, then its new shocks all round and rear inertia belts, maybe this weekend if I get organised ...
