Hi Guys,
I have just discovered this forum and hopefully someone can help solve my problem. I have just replaced my rear springs and shock absorbers and was just undergoing a test run when I braked and had a total brake lock-up. Bit dicey being in the middle of the road and not able to go anywhere! But managed to get towed off to the side by a friendly Disco with a chain. Anyway I was able to free the brakes by opening one of the bleed nipples on a front caliper but the problem returned when I braked again. The problem seems to be in either the master cylinder or the servo. Does anyone have any (helpful) suggestions as to where I should start? I have removed the servo and am about to pull it apart (with the help from the Repair Manual). If that all looks OK (should I look for anything in particular - apart from the bleedin' obvious) I'll do the same with the master cylinder and get a service kit to replace the seals etc.
Thanks in advance,
