Brake pads

Re my last forum message about brake pads,what can make thngs confusing when you look at good old "e"bay you will regularly find pads particularly for the front being sold to fit both V8 and 4 pot cars.

And they don't look like they fit either

Just browsing Ebay and I did see a number of pads advertised as 2000-3500 but they are all for the SD1 which are completely different to P6 pads.
 
The second link is SD1 pads. if they are listed for Rover 2000, 2300, 2400, 2600 and 3500 they are SD1

I found that these listing are pretty poor. The data has been copied and filtered through most suppliers. Always check sizes and dimensions.

I first realised this when looking for the Rare P4 and P5 pads. they only fit P4, P5 and the armstrong siddley saphire so when listed for other cars it is a dead give away.

The original query is related to the BL parts cats which is a puzzler
