Brake parts galore!

Springs, plungers, pistons, pawls, levers, tappets, handbrake mech, caliper bodies, master cylinder, friction pads, discs.... you name it I've probably got it, no matter how small!

Been rebuilding the entire brake system on my TC over the last few months and have had to source several major parts just for one or two small components in each. All working spares are now available.

If you've looked inside a Girling rear caliper lately you'll see just how many delicate bits there are to go wrong! At least three things had worn beyond use or broken altogether when I did mine, so I want to keep all these bits in the owners system to help out others in my situation. If you can't see what you need in the pic, PM me as I may have it.

The rear caliper parts (which are missing the pawl levers and one plunger) are from a car with a genuine recorded 22k miles on the clock, so they should be good. Certainly no problems with the bits I put on mine.

The master cylinder (Lucas 875 brake and clutch - all models), is from a 65k 3500S and missing a spring retainer and dustguard, but otherwise good.

Make me an offer for any small parts you need, I was thinking about £1 ea for caliper and master cylinder bits. £5 for the caliper/cylinder castings individually. Open to offers for the lot.

All parts will be cleaned with brake cleaning solution, and surface rust on caliper castings etc will be lightly rubbed down, ready for packaging.

In addition to all this, I also have:

- Pair front discs to fit 4 cyl car. No scoring- even wear. Car has covered 45k miles. £20

- *Brand New Boxed* Front brake pads for 2200 (to fit Girling type 16 calipers - pads have friction material running to edge of plates with no central groove - 3 holes for pins). £10

- Set of 4 interior door pulls for S2. Good chrome. No backing rings or plates. £5

- Set of 3 early S2 window winder handles (1970-72) with rarer fatter type knob. And 1x later S2 window winder handle with sharper-edged knob. No backing rings etc. £5

More trim bits, including rear light housings in need of rechroming, a few lenses, and some interior parts, will be available in a few weeks- just need to take them off my car first!

PM me if you're interested in anything. Happy to email photos.

Cheers,
Michael

Hi All,

To make things a little easier, I've scanned a page from the Haynes manual showing the P6's rear calipers.
Had a bit of interest from a few people and it gets a bit tricky trying to describe parts when there are so many that all sound the same!! Hopefully you can make out the numbers, which should make it easier for me to see if I have the parts.

Cheers
