Breaking an almond 3500S, not sure of the year as no documentation. Car in poor enough shape but may have bits some are looking for. Has an SD1 engine. Will put up the chassis number tomorrow so should have a rough idea of the year. Apologies I never compressed the pics. Also apologies to ewokracing as I promised him the pedalbox nearly 2 years ago and never removed it due to a combination of small children, illness and work, sorry. I f your still interested please do get back in touch.

Ambla trim, short gearlever and Rosewood would point to it being earlier, say 72/73ish would be my guess.

Not an Irish car Dave. If it was I would not scrap it! It was A Northern Ireland car and may have been in England before that. I got it 4 years ago from another rover enthusiast. Car is very rusty. Also has no front brakes as someone removed the calipers before I acquired the car.

As far as I can remember they are in quite good condition for ambla! I should be able to get to the car and confirm by tomorrow.

Frame number is 48104413B which indeed puts it at the early end of 3500S production as harvey says. I just referenced it from James Taylor's book.

Hi Fraser, the rear seat backs and indeed bases are in good shape. I took some photos yesterday which I will upload later.

More pics including the rear seat backs.

Not sure of the reg number as no plates or documentation when I got it. It could very well have been a mainland UK car that ended up in the north. No trace of the reg number stamped or etched into anything either. Apologies for lack of info.

I will be cutting up the remains of this car in early December. Not much left but off the top of my head,
All sundym glass bar the front windscreen.
Door mechanisms, handles, some trim etc.
Very solid boot floor which can be cut out complete for someone if required.
Steering box.
Power steering reservoir.
Servo.
Rear axle, suspension arms etc.
Front suspension arms etc.
2 black Ambla front seats, tear in seat bases of drivers seat.
Rear seat bases.
Boot lid in decent shape and some wings, bonnet is there but a bit scabby.
Might be some other minor bits and bobs but not much else. Shell is quite rotten
