BRITISH & EUROPEAN CAR CLUB SHOW

Will, as usual, be held at Windsor Park Hastings on Sunday, March 8. Windsor Park is a large expanse of lawn surrounded by large, ancient oak trees. (well, ancient by NZ standards) These provide shelter for the vehicles from the hot sun. Unfortunately when the wind blows they also shower the vehicles with acorns sending the proud owners to check for possible damage. The show usually attracts a large public attendance. Light meals are available, but in todays PC world, ale is not. (sorry Brian from Northhampton). Rover is represented by the Manawatu Rover Club who journey from Palmerston North. They are of course supported by the few local Rover owners including myself. This year will celebrate the 50 years since the introduction of the Mini. A report will follow and hopefully some photos. My PC of 10 years died and has been replaced with a new one. I propose to invest in one of these newfangled digital cameras and learn how to post them.
