I thought so too, James. I really didn't think they'd accept a $20K value, but it really is a fair reflection of the money spent on buying the car and bringing it up to its present condition. The interesting aspect is how they seem to apply a different yardstick to classic cars. If I told them I had a '95 Toyota Corolla that I'd bought for $3K and spent $15K on, they'd probably chuckle into their keyboards and give me insurance for a market value of $2K. But for the Rover they didn't even mention market value, and accepted my $20K figure without question.
