BW35 rear mounting

my rear mounting is pretty soft and there is lots of movement so I intend to replace is using the MGBD spares poly option. What however are the consequences of not replacing it? In the meantime, will it cause problems? Will it start knocking or cause driveline alignment problems or torque convertor wear/flex plate problems?
 
There seem to be 2 different rear mountings in the book - any chance of a pic, or the part numbers? I see 565527 with 562281 bracket, and 572893 with 572886 bracket.
