BW35 TO ZF 4HP 22

Hi all,
thought i had better show you the start of the 3 speed to 4 speed conversion. a couple of pictures of the gearbox used, which came from an early 90's range rover. more will follow as work progresses.

Great, I'm keen to seen how this progresses. Hopefully it's a quicker job than fitting fuel injection was!
 
I'll be following this too, since I have an ex-BMW 4HP22 sitting in my garage waiting to play its role in the same conversion.

Incidentally, I've been offered a torque converter from an '89 BMW 525 4HP22. Is this any good to me? Or will only the Rangie/Disco device do?
 
I've got a BM one off a 535 waiting - although i believe it's the tailshaft that is needed off this?

Was told a disco one was best as the the cable operated gear selector is easy to fit on a P6?

Thread revival time? yes I have a disco box, bellhousing and convertor late 90's sitting on my workshop floor awaiting time and money to do the transplant.

B#?#?#d. I've got the BMW 2WD box, but still looking for Disco bits.
