Call for P6 wedding car photos

Hi all,

Having been given the honourable task of chauffeuring the bride and groom on their Very Special Day this coming weekend, I am looking for suggestions for how to add some suitable, period or creative flourishes to the Rover. I've seen one or two photos of P6 wedding cars in the past, but not a lot. Hoping some of you have some shots available..?

Regards,

tor

The day came and went, and I thought the car looked quite good in a subtle kind of way. Had to improvise on the decorations, but for a bloke I thought I didn't fare too badly. The bouquets sat on the mirrors and door handles using green, plastic coated metal ties. The ribbon was a bit tricky. The best solution I found was to wrap it round the bonnet catch, then route it round the A post and tie the ends to the outer sun visor bracket on either side. I managed to tear it on one side, though, so it got moved to the door mirrors, which was less than ideal.

Here's a couple of pictures of the General our 2000TC on two of the occasions when its been used for weddings. In the one shot there is also a 2000SC which belonged to another club member and in the others there are two white P6's one a 3500 auto the other a 65 2000. Note the Tartan ribbons with the white P6's.
