any one help me?

Hi all - firstly hello all I am new here having just joined today.
I have aquired a Rover P100 (1958 I think) reg VDK *** this car was my fathers first classic car. he went on to own many being a brilliant old school motor mechanic, including a Riley and a Singer 9 and a Triumph Mayflower.

Sadly he died of the horrible disease Moto nurone disease five years ago and we had to sell all his cars except the first one he had which he wanted us to keep to continue to take my mother to car shows etc. My brother and I have resprayed the car, and we tried to get it running yesterday but I found a fuel pump problem - it did not seem to be working after we took some pipes off and cleaned it it seemed to be really pumping well, but sadly we tore the inside rubber of the fuel pipe that comes from ythe tank in the top of the pump. this was a coil covered pipe which has a thicker coil covered middile section' Any P100 or P90 ownners may know what I am talking about I guess.

I now need to find a replacement pipe for this - or a recon one or if any one has any ideas of modifications or by passes or could tell me or recoment a parts dealer - please email me on pjradio@gmail.com or call me on 07934 096 802. I am trying to get the car ready to be used at my daughters wedding on 30th June that includes getting MOT and every thing!

Hi Paul welcome to the forum !

I'm guessing a 1958 Rover 100 will be a P4, I'm sure we have users here with plenty experience of P4's and many owners, however you may want to pop over to http://www.roverp4dg.org.uk/ the P4 Drivers Guild website, they also have a forum (not sure if you need to be a club member though), and should certainly have plenty of users who could help you out.

John Wearing (new or used parts) or possibly Phil Beton or Richard Hedger (mainly used) would be able to help you out I imagine. You'll be able to link to them through the Guild site as Richard has pointed out.
