Yes, that explains things perfectly. The leading edge of the bonnet does indeed seem to sit lower, I'd never noticed that before? I really must pay more attention in class! :LOL: Hmmm, now to think of something to hide those screws?!
 
hey will would it be worth looking for a series 1 bonnet and fit that as yo have got the grill i love the series 1 front end
