Capel Manor Vintage and Classic Car Show 09/09/12

Tried to get as my of the cars in pics but sure I've missed some... And forgot to go back and take some pics of the old push bikes, penny farthings etc....and also the miniture railway kids ride...may be next time, some beautiful gardens and grounds including a maze, managed to navigate to the centre and back out again with out making a false turn :D
 
Looks like a magnifent show once againand once again I was unable to get there! :( :( :(

Oh and forgot to congratulate Dave {herts2000} on his 3rd place in show :D :D :D Well done Dave thats two gongs in as many weeks :wink:
 
That looks a really nice, varied and relaxed event! Remind me to come up and join you for next year!

Dave - that silerware is going to start clogging the mantlepiece.... What's next on the upgrading and detailing front?

Yes I think the venue would make a great contender for our next southern rally or a drive it day venue :wink:
 
The gardens are lovely & very varied. We didn't get round the whole place so we're going to pay another visit for that very purpose. The Moggies were in another field with some very effective faux ruins of castles & stately homes:

Well chris my next plans are to take off the rear panels and re-paint underneath including suspension and replace a few bushes etc where needed. Would also like a new front bumper or a very nice one atleast :D but still plenty to do till im happy with it, ive just picked up a very good down pipe for it from young adam birch i may get that coated in something before fitting :)
