Today, like most of the country, was a really nice "Spring" type day, so I took the old girl out (I don't need much of an excuse) and had many favourable comments, I even got a flash & a wave from an E-Type out enjoying the blue skies. Roll on Summer.

Yeah, the weather was lovely yesterday. Me and the Mrs took the old Mk2 Escort out and about on a shopping trip, and I was really surprised by the amount of smiles we got  The only other classic we saw was a Morris Minor, cruising down the M1, with a young lady at the wheel. Top marks to her!!
Looks like a lovely day today, so I think I'm going to go and hatch the old beast out, and burn another hole in the ozone layer!!

Saw a very nice DS while we were out yesterday.
The wife also said she had seen a nice "classic" that she wanted.... After much looking at photos we found it was in fact a Nissan Figaro !, perhaps not... :D

Well , it is 17 years old , as was my P6 when I bought it

A Nissan lasting 17 years would once have been considered

unbelievable

Went over to Bolton Abbey today (96 trouble free miles :D ) and overheard a young girl say "that's a posh car" & she was pointing at my P6.

Ive owned so many classics Ive forgotten what ive had, some very expensive models too, but I can say that my P6 gets more comments than any other car ive owned. Its quite amazing. I suppose there are still loads of folk about (not passed on or not quite) that remember the P6.
