First posting for me, so I don't know if I have the right section.
I acquired a tatty old 2200TC (1974) to use as a run around. However, there were a number things wrong with it before it could be used. These have been sorted, except one thing. Whenever you pull away from a standing start and sometimes when you change gear there is a noise from the rear that sounds like the spare tyre or a bowling ball is rolling around inside the boot. Once the car is moving at speed the noise isn't a problem.
I haven't had the the time to jack up the car and look at the rear (it is also parked on a street) but I am guessing it maybe worn UJ's.
Any other ideas or theories.
Thanks
