Correct bolts for BW65 torque converter to flexplate?

What size/thread/strength bolt do I need to bolt the torque converter to the flexplate?

If it's a BW35 / 65 converter then you require 4 of 3/8 UNF
15mm thread length ( 24mm overall length )
You also need a hardened washer on each one

Hi Rob,

For the imperial threaded bolts, source grade 5, identified by 3 radial lines on the head, set 120 degrees apart.

3/8 UNF x 7/8” is the the parts book spec. Oddly, the plain washers have different part numbers LHD vs RHD.

Check that, I glossed over the BW65 description and looked up the 4 cyl BW35 instead. The right part number is 255444, the 4cyl number is 255446. So eightofthem’s 15 mm (5/8”) length is likely correct.

Confirmed, 255444 is 3/8UNF x 5/8
