Hi guys and girls
I have a 1970 P6b 3500 I am having problems when slowing to stop at roundabouts and lights and the like.... When coming to a stop the engine slows and dies ...... Having to restart...... Otherwise it runs fine...... This problem is getting a lil annoying now as I have tried the obvious things ...... Oil in dash pots and adjusting the mixture and tickover but with no joy .... But I'm sure one of you people on here will say its that and it usually is ..... Thanks in advance
Will

You need to start from the beginning (plugs, points timing etc) but those symptoms are normally a sign of a weak mixture.

It just started happening when was on way to club meet :0(

Look for something that could cause a weak mixture all of a sudden then, such as a vac pipe off, or a servo hose split, or a faulty servo, or a dropped needle, or......
