Dash warning lights

Hello, as I have the dash apart, can anyone tell me what the orange light is above the clock? Possibly Choke indicator? (Mine has automatic choke now on Holley 4 barrel.) Also, as far as the red BRAKE warning light goes, when should it operate? Are the Pad wear, Fluid low level, Handbrake switches all in parallel configuration? Such that any one would make the light go?

The Orange light is indeed the choke warning light or in the case of the NADA (US) cars a reserve fuel warning light. you can convert it easily on most cars by swapping the switch block clamped to the back of the cable knob from the choke cable to the fuel reserve cable.
all the brake senses operate in parralell. The glovebox owners manual has a circuit diagram on the last page.

Thanks again Mike. Cheers for the confirmation, Sadly no owners manual with this car, and yes, I think I will swap the switch to serve as" reserve petrol in use"
