Did I mention our local Motor factor with all the old books & odd bits on the shelves is closing. Absolutely gutted though he sorted me out all his old P6 bits from when he had one & relevent bits for my cars from stock which he'd forgotten about. Front shocks for P5 & P6 (a new pair each), new tank sender, new Winguard mirror in box (nice), 3 air filters, BL mudflaps (don't think they're P6 though), steering idler, battery cover screws/knobs, new plastic alternator bracket & sundry other bits & bobs...£80.
Great deal but not worth the loss though as it was a proper old-fashioned motor shop who had & would look through the old books for you, hone your cylinders, re-line your brake shoes & they remembered the old cars & could quote part numbers at you.
