Hi all just a quick one.
Does anyone know where to get the seals for the front and rear of the door frames uknow the little pieces that finish it off they are like rubber with a metal insert
Cheers
Richard

The little angled bit that fits between the door body and glass frame,2 per door?
They are unobtanium new/repro and theres more chance of finding life on Mars than these NOS!!
Your best bet is to either fabricate your own somehow or collect good s/h ones if you can find them!

Oh bugger i've throwen them all just assumed you'd be able to get them till i was informed by winns that they didn't do them.
A hole in the market me thinks!!!1
I'll take it to a dragon lol

I think Ian Wilson was going to have these re-manufactured, until he discovered that just to break even, they'd have to be sold at around £50 each (that's 8 of those per car) so didn't bother.

If you have saved the clip itself, you can add black butyl to build up the seal once again. You will need rubber gloves and patience, but it will function as a seal. Another impossible piece to find is the threaded bolt which forms the bottom pivot of the front window vents. All of mine have rusted and broken.

Do you just want the bottom part of the rubber seal with the 700mm x 11mm metal insert (thats a measurement from the front one, i will have to remove the rear one) I have all four of them. Am I allowed to open them up for offers on the wanted section? let me know ta

Hi Adam and welcome to the forum. I don't think your talking about the same thing. The seals we mean are very small fillers that fit on the door not the car body. They fill the gap between the stainless widow frames and the door main casing at each end of the door.
