After finding a nice looking clip on door mirror for Ardy my S1V8,I thought it would be easy to find another one for the n/s!
NOPE!!
I've searched online,all the autojumbles ive attended,and even had a few mates looing out for me as well, but with no luck!
However!!
I have found a clip on mirror that is extreemly close in looks to the original std wingard type,so ive bought a couple!
Not cheap at £36 each + p/p,but you know me,I have to haggle and got a pair for £65 inc delivery! :wink:
The mirror arm pivots at the clamp end as well as at the head,so once in position,just tighten the pivot point screws to firm it up!!
Only problem being one of them has a casting fault on the head,so thats got to be swapped for a good one!
Ideally I want to fit them to the window runner rather than the quaterlight glass,but the fitting clamp bit "not chromed and hidden" is just too small,or the window runner is just too big and has got a curve to it!!
So will bend some new metal and make some suitable to do the job!
