Door mirrors

No they're not, I'm afraid, possibly 60's Ford? To date the only mirrors that are exactly like P6 mirrors are..... P6 mirrors :oops: So I'm afraid you'r after an expensive discussion with one of the UK specialist suppliers, or else accepting some degree of compromise.

It may end up being an "expensive discussion", but not nearly as expensive as buying the wrong kit and then looking for the right stuff.
 
They do come up on ebay (.co.uk) quite often.

That's where I got my passenger side one from.

The passenger and drivers mirrors are the same by the way, although you have to be a very strange shape to see much out of the passenger one.

I am sure Stina has these on her P6,and they dont look too bad at all.
Granted not the original look,but then trying to find a decent original pair,or anything remotely like original is difficult.
They do crop up,try to get the best condition you can,you may be very lucky and get them at a good price if you haggle with the seller quickly.
Its your car and ive seen worse fitted to a P6 from a dealer when new!
Some owners have fitted BIG Jag chrome automatic ones that frankly look like jumbos ears!! :LOL:
Desmo did a mirror that looked very close to original ,but they are harder to find than Wingards.

I think I could find originals here in the Netherlands, a couple of years ago I just asked my specialised garage to put them on my P6, which was no problem. PM me if you would like me to try and source them, I know of three options but they're not good at English. Do you need one or two?

Edit: the ones I had where concave? convex? Anyway, "objects in the mirror were closer than they appear". I personally like that for my door mirrors, but you might not and I don't know if they're available in "straight" mirror glass ...
 
I've been trying to find some too as the mirrors that some Australian cars came with are absolutely useless. (I prefer flat glass too).
