Door seal Rubbers at frame ends.

I am restoring a Rover 3500S and I need the small rubber seals that go at the front and rear of each door frame where the door frame enters the metal door case. There are eight in all. If anyone has a car they are breaking and these are OK, I would be interested.

These are not available as repro's and I have yet to find any that are good enough to have copied. Even Lucky's, whilst (unusually) present are too poor to copy. If you do find any let me know and we'll get some moulds done before you fit them!

Chris.
Are these rubbers the same on S1/S2 front and back doors?
If so I think I may have some good ones on a set of mint rear S1 doors!
Will have a look this weekend.

I am also looking for a car set of these, so i would be interested in case Chis can eventually arrange to copy them.

If Pilkie can't find any, the ones on my daily car are pretty good & could be copied - I need some new sets for the other 2!

Unavalable as we all know. Buy a tube of black Tiger seal. Mask around the area, apply seam sealer and remove tape slowly.

Provides a very neat and effective finish.

I have already done this. But there is a small gap left at the point that seats against the rubber seal with the door closed. I suppose that the original items should cure this.

Think of it as air conditioning for the hot Greek climate! I have a mint set of doors locked away in a garage, howver, even the rubbers on these are flimsy and I dont think would take too kindly to removal, as they are not a gentle removal.

I dont know what the solution is? I live with mine.
