Door Window Rubbers

Mine are totally knackered, I replaced these on my previous P6, but as that was 25 yrs. ago, so I can't remember where I got them from. Can anyone recommend the best place pricewise?

Mine came from Scott's Old Auto Rubber, about 12 years ago. No complaints. IIRC, I had to shape the ends where they go past the pillars.

Yeah, apparently they come in a strip, & you have to do a bit of cutting to get them to fit snugly. Scotts does seem to come highly recommended, but a bit too far away for me!

I was talking to Mark Gray about a month ago and he is having these re-manufactured with the stiffener in place. He was waiting for some samples to check. I'd pm him to find out the latest. I fitted the JRW "cut your own" on the worst of mine. They are better than a cracked one but they could do with the stiffener.

I expect Mark will be quite fussy about the quality of his repro items. And it's good to see him reproducing these with the stiffener in place.

I cut my own from the JR ones and made a right mess of it. You have to hold the rubber upright and then cut directly down into it, but the top is angled, so you are cutting down into an angle.

If Mark's are precut with the stiffener, he will be getting an order from me :)

When are they due?
