Eastenders

There are at least two P6's used;

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01g2zjg, this shows (and I quote) "An EPIC behind-the-scenes look at the making of Carl & Phil's spectacular car crash stunt!"

At the start of the footage, we can see a P6 with its roof pillars cut behind the blue van. (Probably put there to be obscured from the actual footage used in the programme - on the left in the following picture)

Some seconds later the camera pans in and the "crashing" P6 is seen hitting the blue van from the other side.

It states in the footage (and actually shows some people working on the windscreen) that the car had a laminated windscreen, which they changed to a toughened variety. The screen is blown by detonators which the stuntman activates, and then a second or so later, throws himself through the windscreen aperture.

The sound of the car accelerating onto the ramp sounds an awful lot like a 2000 to me. I suspect that one is actually a 4 pot.
One of the cars looks like it had a very tidy black boxpleat interior. Hopefully the remains will appear for sale somewhere!

I too wondered if there was more than one car involved in this. I suppose it maybe made sense to have one car for the crash stunt and another "post crash" car prepared for the following scene.
