electric fuel pump fit

ive just bought a facet fuel pump to fit to my v8 p6.
can anyone advize me on installation please.
ie what happens to old pump ?
im fitting it in the front behind the washer bottle were is it best to take feeds from ?
and were do I cut into fuelpipes to reroute fuel?

I put mine in the back, under the rear seat, mounted on the square section between wheelarch and underbody on rubber mounts. It's in series with the existing mech pump.Wiring taken from live (non-fused) side of fuse box, with a relay operated by ignition switch. It's in the main feed, not the reserve; plenty space underneath. Pull the main pipe off the tank adaptor; try not to soak yourself in petrol. I can grab a pic if it helps.

the facets are pushers rather than pullers, so might be better off under the back.
