Hadn't been for many a year until today :)
Bumped into plenty of faces I knew which was good, generally and seemed to be the only SD1 in the village which was weird :? My memories of old were two SD1 clubs trying to fit what seemed to be 100 cars each into their spaces for 15
Anyway, a selection of pics. Sorry I don't know who all of them belong to but they are still worth an ogle
My lonely car

A quite emotional time for Nicks car, a well earned polishing lesson :D

Didn't expect to see the Dad from the Stavros Flatley dance duo there.

OMG! They are bigger than I planned. Is 800x600 wrong? Been a while since I posted pics

You moved quickly, didn't even see you take the pics, Nice to see you as always grim short but sweet :D and well done for catching Nick doing his two finger polishing
Nice pics too

Lovely pics Grim,

Making me feel nervous about bringing mine into company at Luton...... I don't generally do the cleaning and polishing in the middle of a field thing..... More of a drive with big grin, abandon car, wander around show ooohing and ahhhhing....... Then go home

I was actually trying to test out a product recommended by Guy, being very embarrassed at having turned up with a filthy car (no time!) :)

Good job I did. I look like a Swan Vesta as it is

Tell me about it. The inside of my left leg where the sunscreen spray missed is bright pink & as tight as a servo's diaphram.

Regarding the P5's frontal damage you can see, I tracked down the culprit & charged them £95. Cheap for them but I already have the bits I need in stock so I plucked a figure out of the air which wouldn't push them toward the insurance route.

You're not the first to miss the small print

Funny thing is, I got into this club because I was in a Capri. What they didn't realise when they flagged me down in the traffic, was that it had a Rover V8 hiding in it.
For years I was scowled at turning up with Rovers of all shapes and sizes, Jags and even a BMW 2002 Turbo for a few years. Then, all of a sudden the Capri owners migrated to various marques  I'm one of the few originals still with a Capri or two. In my defense one does have a Rover lump
