Exhaust studs and loctite?

It has been a painfull long saga this....Previous owner fitted steel nuts instead of brass ones to the exhaust manifold studs...impossible to undo as the nut stripped the thread on the stud due to heat and rust.....studs refused to budge from manifold even when glowing red hot with molegrips securely clamped on.
Cut remainder of studs off and carefully drilled out the remains leaving enough metal to recut a 5/16th thread. Ran out of time and gave to my local garage ( in Paris....big mistake) to finish off. They instead drilled the holes bigger and tried to weld new studs in place...their welding had all the strength of pigeon poo. €200 later and I'm back at the beginning....bought a 5/16th helicol kit....knocked out 'welded' studs with a light hammer...helicoil kit comes with a 8.3mm drill bit. My holes are already 8.5mm....duh...cut new helicoil thread into 8.5mm hole and fit helicoil....stud threads up perfectly....but a little loose....run up a brass nut and all seems solid....it seems that under tension the helicoiled studs will work, but I was wondering if there was a stud 'glue' such as Loctite 2242 that could help keep everything in place and 'fill in' the slightly loose helicoil to manifold fit.
Any recommendations gratefully received. Best regards from Paris, Philippe

You see them for sale on ebay from time to time so you could get a new pair.

I had the same trouble getting my old studs out so took the manifolds down to my local engineering shop, went back the day after and the bloke said oh the came out quite easily - I suspect he used oxy on them.
