Where is the best place to go for exhaust systems for the p6 ? and can i buy it in sections as the front two parts are pretty good but my back boxes are quite loud .

cheers

Its worth trying a local motor factors before you approach the specialists, I believe Bosal for one still make sections for the P6.
You can also get parts from BodyShop Warehouse They list the full system but only seem to stock the two rear sections.

I have Bosal exhausts catalogues and in the 04/05 book it lists following part numbers for the 3 boxes on the 4 cylinder car from front to rear as follows.
210-737 , 210-713 , 210-718.

The parts are not listed at all in the 06/07 book but a Bosal dealer may still be able to get them if Bosal have them in stock.

I have used Chester Exhaust Supplies for odd ball parts I cannot get from bosal and there service and price have been good, the seem to be able to make parts themselves if they need to.

the exhaust parts are listed in the bosal exhaust book i have...and its a 06/07 exhaust extra book.but it doesnt list the front pipe it shows the pic but it say NA where the number should be so it looks like its not available anymore.if you cant get the local bosal exhaust supplier to get them for you ring bosal and just quote the exhaust numbers or the car type and they may still have the parts if in stock.

I work for a Bosal dealer and while on to our Bosal rep today, I asked him about these parts. He has told me the main warehouse have no stock and since the part numbers are obsolete the will not be made again. They do however have a stock of old parts collected when they do a stock cleanse at customers or parts which have been dropped from the catalogue and he is going to send me details of what they have in stock. If they have anything available I will let you know.

Hello all,
Any news on any BOSAL suppliers having some centre boxes for a 2000?????
A local exhaust centre-Bristol-contacted his supplier-Chester Exhausts-and quoted me £128 for a centre box, and if I wanted a rear one and could wait 4 or 5 weeks, that would be another £205!!!!! Cheap at half the price-or not. :(

That is a bloody cheeky price if ever I heard one.

My stainless exhaust was custom made ( excluding the manifold) for £320.

I would get it priced up. it only took the guy about a day or two to completly fabricate the exhaust for the car, not just an off the shelf effort.

I have a complete standard 2200tc exhaust system which has a stainless tail pipe that came off the car.
