Got a dry day for a show for about the first time this year, no much sunshine though!

A bit of gardening

Glad you had a dry day at least, good turn-out and some very interesting cars, and the motorcycles absolutely brilliant.
Lovely Norton Dominator - happy memories, my first real motorcycle ! :D Thank you for posting some great pics.

Good pic's there - thanks. Makes me realise that I haven't been to a single show this year (lack of time & rubbish weather). I am wondering why modern commercial vehicles have such bland/boring paint schemes compared to those of yesteryear?

Good P6 turn out :D .

Nice pics tammyboy, seeing that emerald green Mk3 cortina bought back some memories of driving through Europe on a family holiday in my fathers one :D

I love those old buses and trucks. They have such style, most of it sadly missing from modern vehicles. Of course, they're usually awful to drive! We see a lot of Bedford TKs on the road here in the UAE - 2wd and 4wd - a legacy of the British forces presence here prior to independence in the early 1970s. Most are used as water tankers and there seems to be an even split between 2wd and 4wd. Takes me back a bit because I spent many hours being bounced about in the back of the 4wd versions when I was training in the RAF.

PS : I'm tempted to say "phwoar, look at the wheelnuts on that Scammel" but I'll refrain.

Looked a good, varied show that with some monster tractors too, as well as a Fizzy though I preferred the Honda SS50. I never got either but ended up with one of these:

Unfortunately I never did get out on the road on it & when my dad got me my Anglia & I passed my test, the Puch was forgotten. I don't know what happened to it. Wish I still had it.

Looks like a good show Tam, shame I coudn't get there. Must get there next year. It was 28 degrees and scorchio where I was by the way

Lot's of familiar vehicles there, including the P6s.
