Forgotten Where Pipe Goes!

I have had to remove the carburettors on my 1975 2200TC to cure a petrol leak and now, having putting them back I have a pipe which I don't know where it goes. It is the small pipe that Tees off the brake servo vacuum pipe. Any ideas?

Thanks

There's a nipple on the airbox near the intake at the front. There is a valve in it which is moved by large amounts of vacuum via this pipe I'm not sure what effect it has, but I assume it's for emissions control - perhaps to flip the valve to the cold air intake to minimise restriction when the engine is on the overrun...

There is a bimetallic valve in the air cleaner intake which varies the vacuum on a valve which in turn controls the balance of hot & cold air into the air cleaner, for emission purposes . It was an AC product which was made by a firm ACTS near Salisbury now owned by Mahle.
The SD1 had a simpler version which did away with the vacuum and just has a flap valve on a U shaped piece of bimetallic strip which again varies the hot/cold air proportion depending on the cool air temperature.

Thank you for the replies, I have found the nipple and fitted the pipe. Tt was quite a stretch as the pipe is a bit short which probably explains why I didn't look there before.
