Front Calipers

Gentlemen,

My Rover passed its MOT on Saturday with flying colours but whilst checking the brakes pre MOT I could not make up my mind if the front brakes were floating calipers and one sided with the pistons because it all seemed very rigid. They obviously must be working especially as I stood by the rolling road and watched the needles come up together with no drag or lagging one behind the other. I'm just curious as to the way they work.

The caliper is fixed with pistons on either side pushing one pad against one side of the disc
None of this floating caliper nonsense !
