fuel line pipes to use

hi guys what is the size of the petrol lines on the p6 as i got a fuel leak at the front by my electric fuel pump i know i got 10m by the inner wing and want somthing smaller thought about 8m that should be fine i know i can get some 8m copper pipe on a real all i know the rest of the fuels lines are smaller then the 10m i got on the inner wing has any 1 got any ideas on wot size is the fuel pipe conetors for the facetpumps wot is the past pipe to you from the back of the engine then down the inner wing then to my pump copper pipe or rubber fuel pipe

The fuel lines are 5/16", so the metric size will be either marked as 7.9mm or 8mm.

People I've spoken to on the subject reckon the standard size is too small for high output engines. If you have ambbitions to up the power above 200hp then perhaps sticking with the 10mm would be a good idea?

Hi,
used 8mm microbore copper from the rear mounted facet pump on my weber 500 equipped car, linked up with 8mm inner diameter steel braid hose.
