Two bottles is the answer. That way you always have one ready to use. Just remember to get a refill of the empty one before the second bottle runs out too
Good suggestion Dave but I'm renting and two rental fee's is way more than I want to pay. I did think about keeping a spare disposable but that opens up a whole new problem getting the right fittings for the welder.
That was what I was going to do but I couldn't get a reliable local source. They were always out of stock so I rent from BOC at something like £22 per year plus £18 for each refill which didn't seem like a bad deal to me. They always have stock as well which was a big selling point for me.
22 quid a year? Is that all?
I went looking for gas for my newly purchased machines and it worked out to the equivalent
of about 240 quid for the deposit, rental and fill and then it is around a Tenner a month after
the first year is up until it's empty and then its back to the shop where they will only fill it if
you are paid up on the rental etc and then it's 30 quid to fill.
