Got the rover in the local paper

That's fantastic - certainly an incentive to keep hold of the car. Whatever you decide, make sure you keep a copy of the paper with the rest of the car's history - one of my motors has loads of clippings, photocopies of book pages, magazines etc. - it was a really nice surprise because none of it was mentioned in the advert for the car.

Your car is exactly how I had originally envisioned WXC426K - a series 2 car dressed just like a series 1 car - it looks like you really have got the best of both worlds without the superfluous bling of the NADA cars.

I ended up with more of a crossover vehicle - mainly because I had so many series 2 parts floating about but your car shows what is possible.
