Grease Nipples - Where are they all???

Not much info in the manual. Only can find two, one on the spline at the front of the prop and one on the new UJ I fitted. Are there any more I need to attend to?

Apart from the propshaft that you have already noticed, there are also in the UJs (inner and outer) on the driveshafts. You have to remove the plastic covers of the outer UJs to grease them.

Most of the driveshaft U/J's have sealed joints, I can only think of the sliding prop joint as the one they all have.

I think your right harvey, I spent a good couple of hours looking for my nipples and could only find the one that you mention.

I think the haynes manual had me on a wild goose chase. Mines a 1973 2000.

hi,
there is only one grease nipple on a p6, which is on the front of the sliding propshaft. original u/j's were all sealed items. QH and HARD SPICER are still sealed. some new ones do have a grease nipple in them, but be careful when fitting them as there is a right and wrong way, the 'U' shape of the end of the shaft is narrower on one end than the other, ( can't remember which ) and if fitted wrongly the nipple will get knocked off.
