All the best to Rover owners. I am very new to classic cars, so still very wet behind the ears. I have been in Australia since 1982, and have always had an inkling to get a P6!! I am sure that I will be online seeking advice. It is a 1968 Mk1, and in reasonable condition. I will be getting it Roadworthed (MOTed) over the next few weeks, there are few issues to address, but none that cant be tackled. Best wishes AusDav

Welcome! :)

You'll find all the friendly advice you may need on this forum.....post some pics up of your P6 when you get a chance. (We love 'em on here!)

Which state are you in? I own a Rover 2000 automatic in South Australia. We have no inspections there to worry about!

Hi All, thanks for the welcome, much appreciated, I am in Victoria, about an hour from Melbourne, just outside of Ballarat.

Thanks Stan, love the look of your P6, I think I have a lot of work to do! I just dropped it off to the garage. The owner has two of his own which is terrific, he seems to know them well. I will be getting it "Club registration" here and it will be a weekend drive. I will post some photos soon. Best wishes

Hi, I am based just outside Ballarat, in a small place called Bungaree. We have to get a road worthy in Vic, then get a Club inspection, I will then get it Club Registered and drive about 90 days per year. All the best

Hello Aussie Dave
Welcome along. Nice car you've got yourself there! I really like those alloy wheels. Very sporty.
