Hi and welcome to the forum. You'll find lots of help and amusement here.

One or two of us are good at manipulating the DVLA data base, so someone will be able to tell you whether your Dad's car is still with us!

Chris

The enquiry is complete
The vehicle details for DHV 991H are:

Date of Liability 01 01 2000,,"last tax disc expired"
Date of First Registration 04 06 1970
Year of Manufacture 1970
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 3528CC
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type Petrol
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status Unlicensed
Vehicle Colour GREEN

it could be still in a garage somewhere being restored as if it were scrapped it would be removed from dvla records, also it hasnt been marked as SORN'd so maybe exported,or just in limbo!
Good luck searching for it

thanks guys......... ill keep searching...... and does anyone know the lottery numbers for tonite????? lol thanks again
wills

if it were scrapped it would be removed from dvla records

Unfortunately not, I've just pulled details for my old convertible, scrapped at least 6 years ago, plus cars I've scrapped more recently. They don't seem to remove any data. Bit strange really.
