Hello everyone
I joined the Rover P6 Owners Club shortly after it was formed and my membership number was 2**, two hundred and something or other.
I sadly had to get rid of the old dog (P6 3500S - 5 speed maual ERU 313L) a few years ago because of financial considerations.
I don't have a P6 at the moment but will be looking to changing that soon, I hope. I have to find somewhere to park it first though.
No guesses to what I am driving at the moment.
I do miss the old Rover and am starting to pine for one now.
Spec was a late block (No rope oil seal) 10.5:1 compression ratio, SD1 heads, lightened flywheel, custom made headers, 5 speed SD1 box, uprated shocks and springs, Reel Steel high presure oil pump, K&Ns etc. Produced 196 BHP, and went quite well ) Called it 'Thunderdog' because of that wonderful rumble from the exhaust 8) and its ability to leave the hot hatch brigade standing.
Apart from that it was debadged but otherwise standard.
