hi everyone
well, I'm sure I'll be asking questions, already I've learnt quite a lot from reading the forum. I decided to go British and couldn't think of a better car to own, and having a Dad from Geordieland helped make the decision easier too!
I'm the proud owner of a 1975 P6 3500 with air conditioning. Its an aftermarket unit and replaces the passenger glovebox, so on hot days, they have the coolest knees in town. Its saffron in colour and I'm impressed by the comfort, the style and forward thinking of the car's designers and of course, that V8 burble!
I've already upgraded the headlights to Hella lowbeams and Narva highbeams (what a difference!) and future plans include new shocks all round (bit floaty and bouncy), inertia belts for the rear (and re-webbed front inertias) and sorting out an ignition and brake warning light that dont work (the dash globes are fine - checked and cleaned them). otherwise, I'll drive and enjoy.
cheers franklin.
