HI ALL,MAY SOUND A BIT DAFT REALLY ,BUT NOT CLUED UP MUCH WHEN IT COMES TO COMPUTERS,I WANT TO PUT PICS OF MY CARS ON THE FORUM BUT HAVENT A CLUE WHERE TO START,COULD ANYONE HELP,THANKS BRI

Hi Bri, when you are writing a message you should see a couple of tabs lower down on the screen, "Options" and "Upload Attachment", click the upload attachment one, you then use the "Browse" button to find the image you want to upload and click OPEN, then click the Add the File button to upload it.

After that you get an option to insert the file into the message. Hopefully you can figure it out from there, but just shout if you're still stuck.

P.S. please try to use lower case text, some people get offended by all caps. 8)

You can quite easily run out of allocated space using the attachments.
If you use a host like photobucket, you can copy and paste the picture links as many times as you like to loads of places.
You can also make a link to an album for viewers to look at,then you can update it as you go adding some text.
The best way is to have a play around with the systems and see if you can make it work, use any pics you like,we all had to start and practice,so go for it.
Start a post in the lounge saying posting piccys practice page,to play on,the more you do the easier it gets,It will also will help to write down the sequence as its easy to forget how you did it!
Good luck and have fun!

Place your cursor over the picture, and a box with four options will appear below it. The bottom one which says 'IMG Code' is the one you want. Click on it which will make it go blue then right click on it and a box will appear which includes the word 'copy' Click on copy.

Then when writing your post on here, hold the control button down and press the 'v' button, or if you prefer, right click anywhere in your post and click on 'paste'

Those V8s look really nice but the nostalgia bug really slapped me one when I saw that S1 2000.

It looks almost identical to my first ever car, except for the overriders that is.

Are you bringing it out for showing this year?

Richard

Hi Richard i am trying to get it ready for the rp6c anniversary all rover rally in the northeast at beamish muesuem on the 16th may 2010 it is on the road at the moment but will be stripping it down back 2 the baseunit and giving it a baremetal respray and then money pending send the interior for a retrim,i realy love the car infact its nicer to drive than my v8s,i bought it off an elderley gentlemen at coventry who owned the car from it been new,i promised him i would take the car back to him 2 show him the finished result,i have had a look underneath the car and all the usual p6 rustspots and they all seem to be very good indeed hope to see u at the show it will b excellent Bri :D

Hi Bri.
You will notice that you loose some of the pic on the r/h side!!
If you hover over the pic and click on "more",extra options will come up,click on get link code, then where it has IMG for bulletin and forums click the tick box on clickable thumbnail and then save.
Then use the IMG thumbnail link instead and viewers can then click on it to get the full picture without loss of image.
