I'm considering getting a spare LHD/KMH binnacle, and wanted to know if any changes were made to the S2 instruments that could complicate replacing any of them. The tacho I know about (this one is destined for SA anyway). My car is from 1973 (RVC tacho) and the binnacle in question is older (RVI tacho).
The next question is probably trickier. Both of the green indicator lights in the binnacle flash with the indicators on, not one at a time in a handed fashion as they should. I have no clue where to start. It's a bother, they are also pretty weak and can hardly be seen in daylight.
The car was LHD converted in 1976, in case there's a typical error of any kind that was waiting to be made?
