Can an instrument panel from a 3500 V8 MkII (the round dials)be fitted to the older type cars with the strip speedo?

Phil,
I assume that you are asking because you have one available, but if you you do not I have a complete binnacle from a car (V8) which has only done 9,700 miles which you could purchase for a nominal fee.
And yes, I do agree that the instrumentation is much better in the series 2 models.

Nah!
Series 1 instrumenets are a lot better!
Especially with the optional rev counter fitted and a few more gauges stuffed in the front speaker grill!
