Jaguar 4ha differential.
Tried and tested upgrade from the Rover unit, providing a much stronger rear end if adding power.
If used with a V8 this has the favourable ratio of 3.54 for better acceleration providing the car’s gearing is high enough for cruising, ie overdriven top gear with ZF box or 5 speed manual etc. Originally a key part of my project, I’ve since decided upon and found a powerlok (LSD) version which will suit the evolving build better.
This would be perfect for a faster road car with no ambitions of track use or two wheel burnouts
I’ve used this to mock up mounts and that’s about it. It will need a new pan gasket as I’d swapped my finned alloy one on, again for mocking up. This has been swapped back but just bolted up without gasket.
It came from a TVR before I got my hands on it.
I also have calipers and handbrake calipers for sale separately, or can do a deal if purchasing everything.
